Denouement

Ah, the end. As I nodded off on the tube between Brixton and Victoria, and eventually Victoria and Gloucester Road, I couldn't help but smile. I was tired, still a little nauseous, and ready for sleep (and a pint, in that order).

But I felt like I saw more of the city (and its inhabitants) in those six hours than any other day in London. The diversity in ethnicity, class, geography, etc. It was present.

And it proved one irrefutable fact: London is a marketplace.

I speak for both of us. Lauren just read this over my shoulder and nodded. Ah, what a journey.
